"School Days"
Fun fact:
The voice actress for Hikari played the character Akari in To Heart, which is fun because there is of course an Akari character in Konomini, and they have similar hair colors.
There definitely was no fear in creating completely two-dimensional characters for this show. (Haha, get it? Two-dimensional?)
In case you'd like to skip this episode and move right along to the next one, I'll give you a quick rundown of the story. Hikari decides that she wants to see what school is like. She can't understand why people go to school if they don't like it. In the end she figures it out, but it seems the creators of the show realized that it wouldn't be very interesting to show Hikari going to school every day. Easy solution to that problem: destroy the school!
And that's pretty much it. So far, this show has really sucked. This episode is completely pointless, other than introducing Kuon's big Orko-looking brother, and having Hikari talk about how she likes to see all the colors (and an ominous bit of foreshadowing, the "ugly" part of the show's title).
