Fullmetal Alchemist Episode 14
"Right Hand of Destruction"
Roze makes a short appearance in this episode, spouting off some really really cliched anime lines. (I mean, seriously, the whole "just trying to move forward" thing must be some sort of Japanese mantra, as often as it shows up in anime.)
Well, this is a pretty slam-bang episode, with a lot of fireworks and action. There's some plot development, but overall, this installment feels like a setup for the new story arc, rather than something that stands on its own.
Finally, the bad guys from early on in the show make their reappearance (oh, they're taking advantage of their fifty plus episodes, aren't they?), and the show definitely picks up because of that. No more cookie-cutter deranged, one-shot alchemists in sight!
This show has shown itself to be pretty good when they choose to move the plot along. Hopefully now that the first dozen setup episodes have gone by, it'll be all uphill from here.
