Air Master Episode 13

"Shine On! Skystar"

airmaster.jpgWell, I guess I should start out by saying that the art in this series doesn't do it for me. At all. That's not a good place to start. If you happen to like this style of art, then you should probably take what I have to say with a grain of salt. In addition, I haven't seen the previous twelve episodes of this show, so I'm probably more than a bit clueless.

3:57 is about where I'd have given up on this show if I didn't want to try and write a review for it. The art and butch female voices of the wrestlers was just not doing it for me. And, unfortunately, to be honest, even then I was only able to make it about another two minutes.

From the credits and what I saw fast forwarding through the rest of this episode, if you can get past the art and those voices (ugh), there's some kind of cool martial arts or something. I dunno, really.

Rating: F (Incomplete)

It's a shame that someone like you goes and concludes his opinion on just 2 mins of an episode. Even worse, it's not the first episode ether! What the hell did you expect!? 'Art and understanding'? Well let me 'clue you in'. It's not always about art (and i'm not talking only about graphics and sound ether!), sometimes you have to actually WATCH the series you know? .... Well I've probably been too harsh on you and for that I appologise. I just hope, you'll take it under your consideration.

...but it still sucks ass. And I've watched the first episode. The hell was the university anime club thinking in showing this.

You are a a terrible reviewer. How can you possibly rate a show based off of one episode? And one in the middle of a story arch at that!

You didn't even get to see any of the best characters, fight scenes, and comedy in the show. Sakamoto Juliet is the best anime character I have seen in a long time. He's badass, and rediculously funny...kind of psychotic as well. Holstein cow, Sizzler Mask, Maaaaaakiiiiiii...., YEEEAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!, jackhammer, black suits, Lucha. If none of those words makes you laugh, you did not watch Air Master.

This is a fantastic series with a great deal of variation of fighting styles and comedy. The only problem with this series is one or two really f**king annoying characters, and the fact that the it was never finished. (they ran out of funding or something and the ending was rushed) But everything flows fine up until the last 2 episodes, so who cares.

You can download the series for free, as with most animes, so try watching the whole show before you give an ignorant and blind review.

Air Master is great and I would recommend it to anyone!

My review methodology is to give each episode a review.

I will have to say that I love this anime eventhough it was the most traumatizing thing ever. Maybe I just happen to like anime that is really unusual or got tired of the mainstream stuff but I couldn't stop watching this anime. Sakamoto Juliet is the coolest! I can understand if you don't like it though. This anime is not for everyone.
